About the Project

Relackout is the single-console solution for professional stage lighting and audio control. It lets you manage professional lighting systems from one application, providing a powerful control center for theatres, venues, studios, and live events. Traditional light and sound management means separate devices, complicated cabling, and fixed fader layouts. With Relackout, one desktop application brings together a fixture library, patching (universe/address mapping), scene snapshots, cue lists, and a music library. With Mixer Designer you build your own layout of faders, buttons, and cues, and run it from live control or the mobile remote. Highlights: • Live Control: direct playback with touch faders and buttons, scene and cue triggering • Scene Designer & Cue Stacks: scene snapshots, channel editing, step loops, and cue lists • Art-Net, USB DMX & sACN: 1–4 universes (512 channels per universe), multiple USB DMX devices, and sACN (E1.31) output • Mobile Remote: PIN login over the local network, fader and cue control from tablet or phone • Tuya smart lights: patch Tuya cloud devices and control them like DMX • Mixer Designer: drag-and-drop custom layouts with fader/button/scene/cue/music player components With Relackout 2.0 the platform grew from basic lighting control into an integrated light + sound + effects + sync platform. Recent releases added: • Effect Wizard: multi-layer moving-light effects with 29 movement, 19 intensity, and 15 color patterns • Tempo & BPM: tap-tempo, live BPM tracking, quantize, and MIDI Clock sync • External controller support over MIDI and OSC, with a MIDI learn interface • Stage visualizer and fixture calibration • Community Fixture Library: discover and share official and community fixtures • Music import wizard, multi-cue playback, backup and restore • Sound-to-Light and a show timeline on the music waveform With the Kalfa integration, Relackout is now part of the creative process too: lighting plans designed in Kalfa land in the "Kalfa Packages" inbox; you preview and import them with one click, and every lighting design arrives as its own Scene and Cue, ready to assign to your mixer buttons. Technical foundation: Electron (macOS, Windows, Linux), React interface, SQLite database, 40Hz lighting output.
